Here’s what you need to know to pay discounted property tax

Dates for payments of property tax installments are postponed

This Friday, June 24, the term established by the District to pay property tax with a 10% discount expires.as reported by the Ministry of Finance of Bogotá through a statement.

(Tax collection exceeded the May goal by 114.9%).

This tax must be paid by those citizens who own or own property and real estate in Colombia. Also, keep in mind that the maximum date to make the payment, without any benefit, is July 29.

It should be noted that those who must comply with this tax obligation can do so through both the channels enabled in the Virtual Office of the Secretariat of Finance of Bogotáas well as in person at SuperCADE network points and banks authorized by the District.

Among the authorized financial entities are: Bancolombia, BBVA Colombia, Banco de Bogotá, Banco de Occidente, Banco AV Villas, Banco Citibank, Banco GNB Sudameris, Banco Popular, Banco Davivienda.

It should be noted that to make the respective payment, It is not a requirement to manage an account of any kind with said banking entities.

The Secretariat of Finance of Bogotá also reiterated that the procedure to obtain the invoice can be done through the internet. “You no longer have to register in the Virtual Office, now you can download and pay the Predial and Vehicle tax invoices online, through the ‘Download and/or pay NOW’ button,” they published on the official Twitter account.
