Henrique Capriles: We have to make a fundamental change in the country

Henrique Capriles asked Venezuelans not to be pressured for government benefits at electoral times. “Every time the elections come they put pressure on our people, with the bags of food, with the bonuses, with everything, that must be changed. Today I come to add more Venezuelans to our cause and to tell them not to let themselves be pressured. The Government does not work, and what does not work is changed »

the former governor Henrique CaprilesPrimero Justicia candidate for the opposition primaries, assured that it is necessary to make “a fundamental change” in the country, and pointed out that the population is the main person responsible for this transition to happen.

In a tour of the municipality of La Guajira, in the state of Zulia, Capriles stressed that his candidacy must become “a great movement of all the discontents of our country, including those who live here in La Guajira.”

“The Venezuelans who live here are important to me and in the furthest town where there is a Venezuelan, you have to go there to meet him. Here we have to unite and find each other. Everyone who wants change must be added to this cause,” said the former governor, who also toured the Mara municipality and the Venancio Pulgar de Maracaibo parish.

During his tour of the “Los Filuos” market, he assured that the Venezuelan Guajira must become a zone of progress. «Here nobody wants bolivars, there is only the Colombian peso. I have not been on the Colombian side, but they tell me that the contrast with the Venezuelan side is very great. Venezuela is a country with many possibilities and our Guajira could be better, we want it to shine and be a zone of progress, that is the commitment that we have and that is why we are here today”.

Capriles also asked Venezuelans not to be pressured for government benefits. “Every time the elections come they put pressure on our people, with the bags of food, with the bonuses, with everything, that must be changed. Today I come to add more Venezuelans to our cause and to tell them not to let themselves be pressured. The Government does not work, and what does not work is changed ».
