Former presidential candidate Henrique Capriles said that when he walked the streets he saw that “people are clear and want to go to vote in peace” and that the candidate of the Unitary Platform has given a conciliatory message to rebuild the country.
Opposition leader Henrique Capriles posted a message on social media on July 21, on the occasion of Children’s Day, to remind people that there are only seven days left until the presidential elections are held in the country.
“Today is Children’s Day; “Every child has a dream, and our task is to help them make those dreams come true (…) Edmundo González, with his serenity, with a conciliatory and meeting language, has become the hope that we can have a president who unites us and promotes the reconstruction of Venezuela,” he wrote in X.

“There are 7 days left until July 28. In just one week we will be voting and deciding the future of everyone. These days we will continue to see the worst and most terrifying version of the Government and its candidate Maduro,” he said.

According to Capriles, Chavismo “has run out of time and all it has left is violent discourse, threats, insults and shouts. Always with the same script; they didn’t realize that the country changed“That people no longer like them and that they are tired of their lies and that because of them the Venezuelan family was divided with the departure of millions of Venezuelans from our land.”
On July 28, Nicolás Maduro seeks re-election for a third term, while Edmundo González is the opposition majority candidate and the favorite in local polls.
