The governor of Amapá, Waldez Góes (PDT), and senator Davi Alcolumbre (UB-AP) were in a helicopter that had to make a forced landing this Sunday (27) due to heavy rain in the region.
The aircraft took off from the city of Laranjal do Jari, 268 kilometers from Macapá, which was the destination of the politicians, around 3 pm, and the communication towers lost contact with the aircraft for about four hours.
According to the Alcolumbre press office, the helicopter landed in the community of Sororoca, where there was no signal for communication.
Just last night, the senator and the governor were found well and, already in Macapá, they recorded a video in which they thanked everyone for their concern in the face of what had happened and said that it was all “a scare”.
