Four officials were injured during a plane crash recorded this Sunday on the heliport lands of the India Urquia thermoelectric plant located on the Santa Lucía del Tuy-Santa Teresa National Highway, Paz Castillo Municipality of the Miranda State.
According to the part offered by Corpoelec to the last news, at 4:43 pm, the crew was overflowing to inspect the Santa Teresa III-Río Chico II line, 230 kV, Rio I-Río Chico I, when suddenly the aerial vehicle rushed to the ground.
This is Airbus Ec130 helicopter, blue and white colors, acronym PA-003 known as Tigre 003 of the Aragua Police. It was manned by Marcos Sánchez (pilot), Luis Guillén (Copiloto), Edgar Landaeta (Line Maintenance) and Jorge Indriago (PCV Inspector), who were injured, being taken to the Dr. Luis Razetti hospital in Santa Lucía del Tuy. So far, the scope of their injuries is unknown.
After the incident, members of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (PNB), National Guard, Municipal Police and Civil Protection were presented at the scene to provide care and assistance.
The competent authorities have initiated the corresponding investigations to determine the causes of the accident.
