Two people were injured after a helicopter crashed in the city of São Roque, in the interior of São Paulo. One of the victims, according to the Fire Department, was rescued with injuries to his hand. The second person was not seriously injured.
According to information from Civil Defense and the Fire Department, the aircraft, registered PS-VNT, crashed into a lake in the Jardim Conceição region.
The causes of the accident will be investigated by the Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa). Wanted by Brazil Agencythe Brazilian Air Force (FAB) reported that investigators from the Fourth Regional Service for the Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (Seripa IV), a regional body of Cenipa, have already been called to investigate the case.

In a note, the VOA Network Operational Control Center informs that it recorded the takeoff of the PS-VNT helicopter, this Sunday (26), from Jundiaí Airport, at 12:05 pm, bound for São Roque.
At around 3:30 pm, the aircraft crashed into a lake in the São Roque region. There were two people on board, who were rescued by the Fire Department, with the support of the Águia helicopter from the Sorocaba Military Police, with only minor injuries.
