Héctor Garibay from Oruro and Jhoselyn Camargo from La Paz They were the absolute winners of the 10K of Entre Ríos (senior category), which took place over the weekend in said Cochabamba municipality.

The test closed the pedestrian racing circuit of the Tropic in the 2023 season, which began in Lauca Ñ, continued in Puerto Villarroel, Villa Tunari, Chimoré and ended in Entre Ríos.

Garibay did a time of 30 minutes and six seconds (30’06”). He was accompanied on the podium by Rubén Arando and José Uriel from Santa Cruz, second and third, respectively.

For his part, Camargo was followed by Benita Peredo from Cochabamba, who ranked second, and Lilian Mateo from San Luis Potosí, who was in third position.

The winners of the older category, both in ladies and men, They received financial prizes. Bs 9,000 for the first, Bs 6,000 for the second and Bs 3,000 for the third.

The first three men in the youth category (up to 18 years old) were Rimer Siancas and Joel Alegre from Cochabamba, as well as Daner Tarqui from San Luis Potosí. While in the female branch, the athletes who climbed to the podium were Flavia Merida from Santa Cruz, Jessica Fernández from Cochabambina and Heidy Coca from La Paz.

In the youth category there was also an economic prize of Bs 6,000 for the winners of ladies and men, Bs 4,000 for the second and Bs 2,000 for the third.
