At the end of February, Héctor Brands, general director of Pandeportes, will leave office to return to his seat as a deputy for the 8-3 circuit in the National Assembly.
Brands’ announcement was made this morning in the province of Colón, during the inauguration of the “Mundial de Las Estrellas”.
“At the end of February we are already finishing our management in Pandeportes and reintegrating ourselves into our functions as deputy of the republic,” he said, noting that his replacement in office must be announced by President Laurentino Cortizo.
Brands also announced that this week the tender for the recovery of the Armando Dely Valdés and Jaime Vélez stadiums will be taking place.
He pointed out that the Roberto Mariano Bula Stadium must be delivered before the end of the Cortizo administration, since the company assured that it should be finished by December 2023.
