The Minister of the Interior, Luis Alberto Heber assured that his portfolio “is trying to pacify” the areas of Villa Española and Peñarol with “police presence”.

In a conversation with Radio Sarandí, the chief indicated that, as a result of the raids in Villa Española, an investigation is being carried out and, in this regard, he believed that “there are more weapons” in that neighborhood.
The minister pointed out that this case of Villa Española “is part of an organization” that the Interior “is dismantling.” Thus, he emphasized that “before it was not clear” how many criminal gangs there were and now they know. “It’s progress,” she stressed.
In this way, the minister assured that “we are in a war” and, in that conflict, “it is when one asks our Easterners to understand” the situation, he indicated.
