The Englishman Tyson Fury, world heavyweight champion and monarch of the IBF, WBO, IBO and WBC, will defend the title on December 3 against his compatriot Derek Chisora, in the third fight between the two, at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, the British press said on Thursday.
Fury, 34, will defend his WBC heavyweight title for the third time against a fighter he has beaten twice.in 2014 and 2011, in both without being startled.
Fury was originally in talks to fight his compatriot and former world champion Anthony Joshua, but there was no agreement in the negotiations despite the fact that the expected fight was very close to materialize, BBC Sports reported.
The world champion is undefeated in 32 fightswhile Chisora, 38, is nearing the end of his career and has three losses in his last four fights.
Chisora ended a three-fight losing streak by beating Kubrat Pulev last July, while Fury is fighting for the first time since defeating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium last April.
Fury announced his retirement after that victory, but has changed his mind several times since. and now, after the fight against Joshua was frustrated, his main objective is the fight with the 35-year-old Ukrainian world champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBA, IBF and WBO monarch, for 2023.
