After several hours of meeting between representatives of the Government and the National Chamber of Heavy Transport, the Minister of Economy, Marcelo Montenegro, reported that There is still a meeting pending between the transporters and the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH).
“We have had a meeting with the National Chamber of Transport, with the aim of Evaluate the progress of the agreements signed between June 25 and 26. An explanation was given of the agreements that have already been regulated and those that have been fulfilled,” Montenegro said.
According to the minister, “they (the transporters) said they were satisfied on specific issues such as customs and tax issues. There will also be a meeting with the National Chamber of Exporters (Caneb), they will be summoned to explain the issue of freight and payments that must be made in the US currency,” he said.
However, this is not the only pending issue. The minister warned that “they will also look at the fuel issue. Furthermore, Tomorrow (Thursday) there will be a meeting with the ANH and those from YPFB will also participate, where the diesel supply will be seen.”
The national authority stressed that as a ministry (of Economy) “we have been complying with transport and they have admitted it.”
