During a meeting of the Temporary Working Group of Havana, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Cuban regime, Manuel Marrero, it was announced that the 69-year-old victim lived in the municipality of Centro Habana, one of the most affected territories. by the floods.

Antonio Rodríguez Rodríguez, president of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH), specified that this Friday more than 100 mm of water have fallen in the capital, and that between 300 and 400 mm are expected in some areas in the remainder of the day and Saturday sunrise.

Rains and floods are reported throughout western Cuba

Reports of official media indicate that similar floods have occurred in the provinces of Pinar del Río and Sancti Spíritus, where rivers and streams rise.
