Hearing of the Discovery case adjourns

The judge of Permanent Attention of Santiago recessed for this Friday, at 11:00 am, the audience requesting measures of coercion against the 39 people accused of extortion and sextortion to appropriate the economic resources and personal identities of thousands of United States citizens.

The prosecutor Claudius Cordero reported that today they culminated with the factual account, where they presented the accusation of each accused.

He indicated that tomorrow they plan to start with the presentation of the material evidence before the magistrate Yiberty Polancoof the said Court.

The judicial official assures that the body has sufficient elements to demonstrate the criminal responsibility of those involved in the alleged cybercrime network, dismantled through the Operation Discovery.

The Public Ministry requests 18 months preventive detention against the group and declare the case complex.

Among those accused are Sucre Rafael Rodriguez OrtizPablo Miguel Balbuena (Miguel Ortiz and/or La Valvla), Víctor Manuel Hernández and Ángel Rafael Peralta Guzmán (Alikate).

In addition, José Eliezer Rodríguez Ortiz, Kimberly Rodríguez Ortiz, José Eliezer Rodríguez Ortiz, Jhonatan Francisco Vásquez Ventura, Máximo Miguel Mena Peña (Max), Emmanuel Castro Ozuna (Bill), Josué de Jesús Marte, Mayobanex Braulio Rafael Rodríguez Fernández (Mayo), and Anabel Adames.

Also against Genaro Antonio Hernández Caba (Moreno K5), David Antonio Guzmán Javier, Winston Rafael Batista Brito, Jean Carlos Rosa Vargas, William Hiche Cárdenas, Wilmer Abreu Durán, Juan de Dios Martínez Brito, Salim Bautista Santana, Enrrique Sánchez, Cedrik Sánchez Rodríguez , Carlos Daladier Silverio Cabral, Ramón Tomás Camacho Tejada (Blood), José Efraín Mejía, Rubén Ángel María Reynoso Rodríguez, Juan Carlos Belliard Uceta, Wilson Núñez Rodríguez, José Oscar Peguero Martínez and William Alberto Díaz Cruz.

Also accused are Jonathan Yoelfri Peña Martínez, José Estévez Then and/or Joel Estévez Mena, Willys Mena, Augusto Fermín Jáquez and/or Augusto Fermín Rodríguez Jáquez, Félix Manuel Jorge Muñoz, Juan Carlos Silverio Gómez, Cristina Lhin Yeng, Bonifacio Estévez and /o Bonifacio Daniel Estévez Irrizari and Linda Pérez.
