In the early hours of this Wednesday, the hearing for the presentation of 13 detainees for their connection to the corruption schemes in the CVG and cartons of Venezuela was held.

Among the detainees are Hugo Cabezas, Pedro Maldonado, Edgar Sánchez, Felipe Contreras, Lino Mora, Tulio Medina, Carlos Moreno, Johan Sequera, Isaac Mohamad, Nestor Astudillo, the minister said, along with images of the transfer of the detainees.
Previously, judicial sources reported that the National Police against Corruption had detained the former minister of the Secretariat of the Presidency, Hugo Cabezas, for his alleged connection with a structure of corruption in the Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana (CVG).
It should be remembered that the operation against the CVG was carried out after the investigations carried out by the National Executive, as well as the statements provided by the criminal network in the case. called PDVSA-Crypto.
More than 40 people have been arrested for different corruption schemes.
Due to the acts of corruption, the National Government appointed an Audit Board of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG).
In the decree – published in the Official Gazette – it was specified that the intervention process of CVG will be carried out in accordance with the previous guidelines in it.
In this regard, it is detailed that the intervention process will have a duration of one year counting from the date of this publication of this decree.
