In that sense, the accused face charges of abuse against children and adolescents, in violation of article 396, literal B and C, of the Code for the Protection and Fundamental Rights of Children and Adolescents (Law 136-03). , as well as for violation of laws 137-03 on Illicit Migrant Smuggling and Human Trafficking and 155-17 against Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, and by association of criminals, in violation of articles 265, 266 and 267 of the Dominican Penal Code.
