Health workers grouped in the Buenos Aires City Hospitals Association of the Association of State Workers (ATE) carry out this Tuesday a stoppage of activities demanding an “urgent increase in wages, with a floor of 200 thousand pesos” and “immediate incorporation” of new professionals, both residents and attendees, will add a new day of struggle, and all sectors, including the Nursing Graduates Association (ALE), will come together in a mobilization that will take place during the morning towards the headquarters of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health , located in Bolivar 1.
“Today we had a great call together with the press that accompanied us. We will carry out a general strike this Tuesday together with a significant number of sister union organizations that represent the workers of all the hospitals in the City of Buenos Aires,” Héctor Ortiz, state leader of ATE-Capital in the health area and a referent, told Télam Association of Hospitals of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA).
