Health Tourism, another strength of Cuba

Cuba is working today to improve and expand health services related to the well-being and quality of life of international travelers, highlight specialists on the subject.

According to the Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos, minimal access surgeries and bariatric surgery (a set of procedures to reduce stomach capacity) are in great demand.

As part of the tourist package there is also the application of doses of Cuban anti-Covid-19 vaccines, the entity pointed out.

There is a group – mostly physiotherapists – that will be distributed in the tourist facilities, in which the visitor can receive dance and yoga services.

“Tourists treated at the minimum access clinic can travel accompanied by their relatives” and have the option of enjoying excursions to places of interest, recreational or heritage, said the source cited by the Cuban News Agency.

Among the services are massages, relaxation techniques, podiatry services, equine therapy, hearing investigations, thalassotherapy, skin and hair care, optometry, and music or color therapies, among many others.
