This Tuesday, there will be a massive mobilization of doctors, nurses, residents and attendees, who called for a health strike in all hospitals in the City of Buenos Aires.
The measure of force of health workers is given in claim for salary improvements, with a minimum floor of $200,000, as well as in request for the reincorporation of more professionals. The health strike will affect the rendering of services in the City’s hospitals.
As announced, the health strike he was summoned for 24 hours; nevertheless, the resident and concurrent doctors, who complement the eighth week of protests, maintain their measure of force for an indefinite period.
The call will start at 11:00 am in the Obelisk; From there they will go to the offices of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health, in Bolívar 1 to extend their claims to the head of the portfolio, Fernán Quirós.
Through a press release, the health professionals clarified that their protest will affect office shifts and common interventions, since service will only be provided in the guards and critical areas.
The protest was called by the health workers grouped in the Hospitals Association of the City of Buenos Aires of the Association of State Workers (ATE), led by Héctor Ortiz.
In this regard, Ortiz pointed out: “the generalized claim of the workers is only one: we want salary recomposition now” and adds that the salary floor must be in accordance with the cost of the family basket.

In addition to the ATE, protest The Nursing staff of CABA joined in the Nursing Graduates Association (ALE), who also demand professional recognition.
Likewise, the Single Union of Workers and Employees of the CABA, Professional Doctors, the Federation of Professionals, the SITRE and ALE unions and the organizations that represent resident workers participate.
