Health sector holds 48-hour protest in Huancavelica

Several health sector unions went out to protest at the door of the Regional Government of Huancavelica.

Solis Chahuayo Ampa, leader of the union of workers from the periphery of the health sector, stated that those who came out to this protest measure are workers from the DIRESA Huancavelica unions, from the Huancavelica Health Network.

“We are focused on the four points, one, the appointment of the regular CAS, which is intended to rock with 10%, our proposal is that at least 20% be appointed at least every year; the second point is the promotion of the servers, 20 years ago there are no automatic promotions of the servers”, said Chahuayo Ampa.

He added: “The third point is the remuneration scale in the fourth section, which must be assigned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, for the increase in the year 2023; We also ask for the administrative staff to pass to 1153, we are a single team and they want to divide us, that is why we are all, appointed and contracted, assistance and administrative staff, we protest at this time”.

The leader stated that on Wednesday night they held a meeting with the regional governor and some of his officials, however, they did not reach an agreement.

“We did not reach an agreement, because the regional president (governor) was already on a trip to the city of Lima to have a meeting in Congress, according to health concerns, for today he left the general manager and his officials in charge ”, detailed Chahuayo Ampa.
