Rocío Rivero, from the Federation of Unions of Medical Branches of Public Health (Fesirmes), confirmed that a 24-hour strike is planned for this Friday throughout the health system. A march will be added to the pressure measure, in defense of the environment.
“This is a departmental strike, lasting 24 hours, at the three levels of the health system. This is because the staff, which is about 4,000 people, among professionals and health workers dependent on the municipality, their salaries are owed,” Rivero reported.
Likewise, he referred to the march in defense of the environment, due to the high levels of pollution that have been recorded due to forest fires in the surrounding municipalities.
The call is at 9:00, at the doors of the San Juan de Dios hospital
