On Friday, the country registered 652 new infections by Covid-19. With this figure, the total of positive cases since the arrival of the pandemic in March 2020 amounts to 513,112, of which 19,208 remain active.
Santa Cruz continues to be the most affected department with 320 new cases. Cochabamba follows with 98 positives, while La Paz reported 83. Further down the list are Chuquisaca, with 70; Tarija, with 59; Oruro, with 10; Pando, with seven; and Potosí, with five. Beni did not report any positive diagnoses in the past 24 hours.

This Friday, nine people who lost their lives due to the virus were also known, bringing the total fatality to 18,924.
Regarding vaccination, the Ministry of Health reported that 3,619,199 first doses were applied nationwide, 2,919,334 second doses and 305,066 third doses. To these are added the unique doses of Janssen that reach 931,983.
