Health confirms 125 new infections and 6 deaths from COVID

The health portfolio reported that in the last 24 hours, 2,031 samples were processed, of which 125 yielded positive results for COVID-19.

In addition, 6 new deaths were registered, of which four had a complete dose and 2 with incomplete doses. With this, the total number of deaths related to the disease in the country reaches 18,577.

Currently, some 209 patients are hospitalized for COVID-19, of which 57 are hospitalized in intensive care units.

Of 57 patients in ICU; 19 are not vaccinated, 18 have a full dose, 13 have an incomplete dose, and 7 are outside the vaccination range.

On the other hand, the report includes some 298 new recovered patients, thus adding a total of 622,539 people who managed to beat COVID-19.

With the new figures, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country since the start of the pandemic reaches 646,968.
