The Minister of Health and Sports, Jeyson Auza, reported this Monday that 2,340 new items will be created for health workers and professionals and that they will be invited “in writing” to a meeting. This, within the framework of growing protests in the sector, which called for a “strike of a thousand services” for this Tuesday, April 5.
“Although we have always been open to dialogue, we have heard statements through the media that the measures will continue if formal and written invitations are not made to the mobilized bodies. We have no problem in that regard, on the day of Today we are going to send written invitations to the mobilized instances to set the date and time to hold this meeting to be able to listen to each of their demands,” Auza told the press.

The authority did not specify the day that will be proposed for the meeting, but reiterated that the invitation will be sent this Monday.
Among the demands of the medical sector are the withdrawal of the Health Emergency Law, the regulation of the employment situation, the payment of salaries of doctors who worked during the pandemic and the provision of items on a national scale. To do this they scheduled a strike for tomorrow and the “great march” for April 13.
Last Friday, Auza announced the installation of dialogue tables to analyze their demands, but they responded that until they receive a written invitation, the pressure measures will continue.
