A traffic accident recorded this morning on the Canta-Huayllay highway, near Laguna 7 Colores, left four people dead and several injured, after a head-on collision between an interprovincial bus and a private car.
According to the first reports, the collision was of great magnitude, which caused the smaller vehicle to get lost and fall several meters off the road, remaining overturned with its tires facing up. The occupants of the car were trapped between the twisted iron, while the passengers of the bus also suffered injuries of varying degrees.
Units from the National Police and the Serenazgo arrived at the scene, who helped the injured and secured the area to facilitate the work of the rescue teams and the removal of the bodies. Traffic authorities are investigating the causes of the accident and recommended caution to drivers traveling in the area.
