Head of the Dircote: “Son de Sendero”; Front lawyers: “There is no evidence”

“Are from Shining Path. It’s not that they were acting in the Shining Path style. It is Sendero Luminoso with a new modality, with a new, different way of acting,” the head of the organization told La República. Directorate against Terrorism (Dircote), PNP General José Zavala Chumbiauca, referring to the seven detainees in Ayacucho, who are accused of alleged belonging to a terrorist organization.
