The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Madurocongratulated with joy and sent hugs to the Brazilian people for the inauguration of their Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The message was disseminated through the social network Twitter @NicolasMaduro, where the head of state expressed: “A new wave of liberation runs through the Great Homeland, opening paths of geopolitical advancement for South American union projects. Our hug to Lula and the Brazilian people!”
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, assumed this Sunday, January 1, 2023, the position of constitutional president of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in an act held at the Brazilian National Congress.
On January 1, Lula took office as the first constitutional president, and in his first speech, he stressed that democracy is the first bulwark that guaranteed his victory, likewise, he announced that the first actions of the Government will aim to “rescue 33 million people from hunger and rescue from poverty, more than 100 million Brazilians who have borne the heaviest burden of the project of national destruction that ends today”.
