According to the report, Joshua Curay allegedly took advantage of his work schedule on two occasionsto discuss issues unrelated to the Government Palace. The first was for a coordination between the reporter, who pretended to be interested in his services, and him, on July 5 at 3:39 p.m. While the second occasion was when Curay sent messages during the mornings of July 5, 8 and 9.

At one point during the session, Curay confessed to the journalist that he once had presidential aspirations, but that the reality within the government of Dina Boluarte had discouraged him. He also openly criticized certain members of Congress, reflecting a level of discontent with the current political class.
After the session, Curay asked the reporter to send him potential jobs he could apply for and promised to send her a sample resume. He also shared a text titled “Projection and Idealization: Why Dating Apps Affect Intimate Relationships” and a YouTube video of himself singing a song.

It should be noted that Joshua Curay Ferrer has been the Palace’s Head of Protocol since March 1 of this year, receiving a salary of S/ 14,000. A career diplomat, he was posted to the Government Palace in January 2023, with former Foreign Minister Ana Cecilia Gervasi signing his transfer. Currently, he holds the rank of First Secretary, a position generally occupied by diplomats with the rank of Minister.
Following the information gathered by El Foco, the media outlet tried to contact Curay Ferrer without any success. However, he removed all his coaching service advertisements from the “Tusclases.com” platform.

Karla Gaviño, a professor at the School of Public Management at the University of the Pacific, told El Foco that Curay’s position legally prevents him from offering coaching services during his working hours.
