He says that with traffic lights, what belongs to the State returns to the State

Dice con semáforos vuelve al Estado lo del Estado

Milton Morrison assured that, at the appropriate time, Intrant will provide detailed information on the Transcore Latam contract investigation

The director of the National Institute of Transit and Land Transport (Intrant), Milton Morrisonstated yesterday that with the suspension of the contract with the company Transcore Latam, SRL for the improvement of the traffic control center and the traffic light network of Greater Santo Domingo, “what belongs to the State was returned to the State.”

Morrison made these statements when asked about criticism from the former President of the Republic, Leonel Fernandezthat the traffic control system and traffic light network installed by the company Transcore Latam could be carrying out mass espionage.

The only thing we did was return to the State what belongs to the State.“He said after pointing out that those who have been in the State know that public management has its different protocols.

He argued that upon his arrival at Intrant he found a situation resulting from an audit carried out by the Comptroller’s Office, which is why – he specified – it was necessary to terminate the contract and return the traffic lights to state control.

“We will inform you in due time tomorrow, but if you want to know what the process is in terms of judicial nature and so on, you should ask the Public Prosecutor’s Office,” he said.
