Santiago Rojas, 21, is being sought by police authorities to determine his alleged participation in the murder of his partner María del Carmen Colón (18), police sources said. The girl had been missing since March 21 and her body was found on April 5, buried in a wooded area of Nuevo Horizonte, Caracas.
Until now, the scientific police have captured Junior Rojas, brother-in-law of the deceased and who led the officials to the place where the body of María del Carmen was buried.
This detainee confessed that the death of María del Carmen was caused by a blow to the head that she received from her partner. Then they try to chop the corpse but find it difficult, according to the subject’s testimony.
María del Carmen suffered continuous mistreatment by Santiago Rojas with whom she had a son three years ago.
