Jacinto José Serrano Pérez, 55 years old, allegedly killed his partner with a firearm and later informed the authorities that she had committed suicide.
A version of this fact was exposed by the Cicpc through its Instagram site, from where they reported that the victim was identified as 27-year-old Julián Kari Betancourt Piñate.
Serrano Pérez was detained by agents attached to the Cicpc-Altagracia de Orituco, Guárico, the municipality where the events occurred, specifically, in the Camoruco sector, where the victim lived with Serrano Pérez. The couple argued in the middle of an evening with the intake of alcoholic beverages. And it is there when Julián Kari exhibited a firearm that in the middle of the struggle was taken from him by the man.
As the minutes elapsed, Serrano Pérez activated the firearm, mortally wounding the woman, who died within minutes. But the man took Julián Karin to a health center where he indicated that she had committed suicide.
Cicpc officials began an investigation at the site where the event occurred, as a result of which they determined that it was a murder, the police report refers to.
Based on this information, the scientific police agents arrested the man and seized a revolver-type firearm. The detainee was handed over to the Eighth Prosecutor of the Public Ministry.
