A woman was arrested by officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), after it was discovered that she transported a cargo of drugs hidden in a baby chair.
The case was detected in the Vega de Aza sector, Torbes municipality of the Táchira state, at the point of attention to the citizen of the jurisdiction of the Zodi 2, where a woman was captured with 7 kilograms of alleged cocaine. The name of the female was not revealed.
According to the authorities’ report, it was specified that the woman intended to take the drug to the city of Valencia, Carabobo state.
Likewise, it was known that the detainee was traveling aboard a public transport vehicle. The chair was folded and embalmed suspiciously and intended to prevent the cargo from being discovered. However, the package caused suspicions in the officials, so they carried out the review and, when opening the wrapper, they discovered that the woman carried 17 illicit packaging.
