A 15-year-old teenager, identified as José Daniel Ariza, died after being shot in the head allegedly by a classmate.
The first versions indicate that the events occurred on November 6 at the home of a classmate where several high school students met to carry out work, located in San Francisco (Zulia). They are studying at the Eduardo Mathias Lossada National High School
At that moment, the host student took out a firearm to show his classmates. And with it he aimed it at José Daniel’s head, who was shot in the head.
The mother of the injured student went to the house where the incident occurred and took him to the Manuel Noriega Trigo Hospital in Maracaibo. There he underwent surgery.
Subsequently, the boy was confined in the Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital of the South, also located in the capital of Zulia, where he died last Thursday.
José Daniel belonged to an evangelical church.
