“He died alone, like a dog”: Cuban holds the regime for the death of his brother

Yoan Cruz, a 50 -year -old psychiatric patient, was transferred to a center for the wardrobe without his family being notified. Shortly after, he died and was buried without, either, the family knew it.

Miami, United States. – The Cuban Internet user Yoel Cruz denounced publicly, through A live broadcast on Facebookthe death of his brother, identified as Yoan Cruz, a 50 -year -old psychiatric patient who was transferred to a center for the care of their relatives without their relatives, who were being disappeared, were notified.

During the transmission, Cruz directly responsible “to the Díaz-Canel dictatorship”, to the Ministry of Public Health, to the Center for Rein-League National Police (PNR) for what happened. He was not even informed of his brother’s death, who was buried by the authorities without the consent of the family.

“On June 3, my brother, psychiatric patient, (…) was lost from the house, I went to work,” Cruz explained.

Two days later, on June 5, the man made the formal complaint of the disappearance at the Aguilera police station, in the municipality ten of October, but did not obtain effective response. “I start sharing publications, calling places, going to places,” he said, stressing that he also received help from friends.

It was not until July 21 that, thanks to a source he did not identify, Cruz was informed that his brother had been admitted to the “Julio Trigo López” surgical hospital, in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality. “He informs me that my brother was in the center of robulants and that they had taken him for Julio Trigo (…) because there they were doing all the analyzes to the patients of the wandering centers,” he said.

However, his brother had died on July 4, the day he turned 50. “My brother died on July 4 of this year, on the same day of his birthday, after having been admitted to Julio Trigo, because from there I come, to ask for explanations,” Cruz said.

Cruz said that admission occurred on June 18, that is, 15 days after his disappearance, and that the cause of death was a combination of malnutrition, gastroenteritis and pre -existing heart complications. “The summary is malnutrition, gastroenteritis and (…) a cardiac complication; it already had thickening in the heart,” he explained.

The most serious, he denounced, is that he was never informed of his brother’s income or death. “On July 4 (…) they call me from the PNR of Aguilera, to ask me if I knew about my brother,” he said. “The same day that my brother died at Julio Trigo Hospital, after having been transferred on June 18 from the Center for Hunting.”

Cruz alluded to a letter issued by the Center for Fin Care in which the number of identity card and the complete surnames of his brother and questioned why he was not notified if they were evident if they could contact him were notified. “Who Pinga did you authorize to bury my brother? He also criticized the lack of institutional assistance during the months prior to his brother’s disappearance. “To my house was never a social worker, (…) not a psychologist, (…) No one of medicine to know or ask what we needed,” he said. “The only thing that was going was a nurse every five months to put her injection.”

Cruz also declared: “They killed my brother, died alone, like a dog. He died malnourished, like a dog on the street.” And he added: “I take responsibility for the Diaz-Canel dictatorship (…), to the Ministry of Public Health, and I hold the center of roasts, and the PNR of Cuba, for the death of my brother.”

In addition, the Internet user lashed out against the official discourse: “Here do not come to say that it is the fault of the blockade or Pingathis is your fault, shit government, corrupt, thieves. ”
