According to the information disseminated by the high official on their social networks, rescue teams managed to get three people alive, who were transferred to the José María Vargas hospital.
It was known that during the work they managed to find the older adult (61), who died under the rubble.
The affected neighboring families are being treated and relocated temporarily in safe areas, while the technicians of the Municipal Institute of Risk Management and Disaster Administration carry out the inspection to rule out risks in the area, Meléndez explained.
