The tourism and construction entrepreneur, Fernando Hazoury once again supported the development of the Pedernales tourism project during the start of construction of the first two anticipated hotels, Iberostar and Inclusive Collection Part of World of Hyatt in red cape.
Hazoury, also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cap Canahighlighted that the country today has a favorable climate for national and international investment.
He urged to continue working in favor of this type of investment that means growth in the tourism sector of the Dominican Republic.
He also said that they represent a diversification of this, generates more jobsand contributes more hotel and residential rooms that consequently translate into growth of the economy in general.
He said that, as on previous occasions, he calls on the State, the private sector and the nation in general to become increasingly aware of the importance of tourism in the country, which today is the largest source of incomewhich he calls our oil.
“It’s time for the South”
He appreciated the effort made by the central government, the General Directorate of Public and Private Partnerships in its director Sigmund Freund, and to all those involved in the development of red cape Pedernales, a project that will undoubtedly be historic in the southern region of the country and its awakening.
“For more than two decades there has been talk of the beginning of this development. indisputably now it’s time for the south of our country with this project of red cape Pedernales, which is vital for the area and today is already a reality,” he added.
He also congratulated the President Luis Abinader, “who has been personally committed to giving life to this project that will be, like others, a great tourist destination for the well-being of the country and especially of the Southern Region, providing good jobs and attracting more tourists, thus generating more foreign currency”.
He reiterated that, on his side, Cap Cana is devoting “great efforts” to holding different international meetings with businessmen, investors and hoteliers, among others, in search of more investment and diversification of the sector in order to continue the development and growth of the Destination City.
