Harsh sanction against Olimpia for acts of vandalism

The Paraguayan Football Association sanctioned the Olimpia club for the events that occurred in the Copa Paraguay match played at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium against Libertad.

In the game Olimpia vs. Libertad, which was played at the Defensores del Chaco stadium for the Paraguay Cup on September 7, the organized supporter of the fringed club had caused damage to the stands, ripping out the seats in the southern bleachers sector and throwing them onto the playing field. . In principle, the APF Court had provisionally punished the fringed entity, suspending for two matches the public that could not attend the game against Sol de América in the Bosque de Para Uno, and against Nacional in the Arsenio Erico.

On this occasion, the penalty is more severe, since the organized fans of Olimpia were sanctioned with a ten-month suspension, for the entire series of violent acts recorded in the last “black and white” classic. They will not be able to attend the games as an organization or enter allusive instruments to the bar.

On the other hand, the club received a heavy economic fine of 40 minimum wages (G. 102,012,280) and a fine of 30 minimum wages (G. 2,942,670) to president Miguel Cardona, which must be paid in the next five days skillful.
