The campaign for the Presidency of the Republic enters its final stretch, and according to the polls, the elections will be a head-to-head between Gustavo Petro and Rodolfo Hernández. The survey carried out by the firm Yanhaas for the media alliance of RCN Radio, La Fm, Noticias RCN, NTN 24 and La República, threw that el 42% of Colombians would vote for Gustavo Petro and 41% for Rodolfo Hernández.

This Tuesday Petro spoke of his ideas for coal mine workers. He assured in which he assured lThe energy transition will not harm their income.

In this sense, Petro proposed that “the workers who are fired in the large open-pit coal mining in the Caribbean they will become cooperative owners of solar energy farms.

It was precisely this point of solar energy that questioned the engineer Hernández on his Twitter account: “And where are they going to get the solar panels from? And how are the farms going to be connected for solar energy without a transmission system?”
