Just days before the end of 2025, expectations are growing throughout the country after confirming that Santiago Centro will recover its most emblematic tradition with a display of fireworks that will illuminate the Alameda. This event, which has been suspended for seven years, not only marks a nostalgic milestone for the capital’s residents, but is presented under a renewed modality that seeks to balance the visual spectacle with respect for the urban environment.
Which communes will have fireworks shows
The organization of the event at the Entel Tower has designed an aerial choreography that will integrate cutting-edge technology and seven thousand shots of fireworks strategically distributed in more than 200 positions. For the party to be complete, the day will begin before midnight with a giant stage where national artists such as Américo, La Noche and Princesa Alba will perform, who will set the rhythm while people wait for the final count.
In addition to the capital, other important communes of the country have ratified their shows fireworks to receive 2026, highlighting the following meeting points:
- Entel Tower (Santiago): 15-minute mixed show with drones and certified pyrotechnics.
- Valparaíso: the classic “New Year at Sea” with 18 minutes duration and points in the hills and coast.
- Viña del Mar: six maritime launch points in sectors such as Reñaca and the Vergara Dock.
- Iquique: a technological megashow with 1,500 drones that will form regional figures in the sky.

In the Valparaíso Region, the budget for these celebrations exceeded 900 million pesos, ensuring a batch of fireworks of 18 uninterrupted minutes off the coast. The big news for this year at the port is the implementation of rules that require noise reduction, a fundamental measure for the event to be inclusive and not affect people with hearing hypersensitivity or local fauna.

For its part, the municipality of Viña del Mar also opted for innovation by acquiring lighting effects never before seen in Chile to accompany its fireworks maritime. With launch points in Recreo, Miramar and Playa Los Marineros, the garden city seeks to recover the massive tourist flow, guaranteeing that the show is “pet friendly” thanks to the use of low sound impact materials that reduce stress on pets.
