After threatening to suspend the delivery of prisoners next Saturday (15), the Palestinian group Hamas reported, on Thursday (13), that will comply with the scheduled schedule for the delivery of prisoners agreed on October 7, 2023.
“Hamas confirms the continuation of the implementation of the agreement from what was signed, including the exchange of prisoners according to the specified schedule,” he said by note.
Earlier this week, the group said it would suspend hostage due to Israel’s violations of the ceasefire agreement. According to Gaza authorities, 95 Palestinians were murdered and another 824 were injured by Israeli forces since January 19, the day of the beginning of the ceasefire.
The Israeli government has promised to resume the total war in the event of suspension of hostage to noon on Saturday, having received support from US President Donald Trump.
Hamas reported that it has negotiated with representatives of Egypt and Qatar to discuss the implementation of the agreement after Israel’s violations and remove obstacles to compliance with the measures.
“Our delegation focused during meetings and communications in the need to join the implementation of all terms of the agreement, especially with regard to the guarantee of housing for our people and the urgent entry of caravans, tents, heavy equipment, medical supplies, Fuel and continuous relief flow and everything that is stipulated in the agreement, ”says Hamas in the report.
The group maintains that Israel has blocked the delivery of tents, medical materials, groceries and debris removal equipment, as well as blocking injured transfer, as planned. “The Israeli occupation is deliberately obstructing the journey of medical cases through Rafah’s border passage,” he says.
