The 17 people who were traveling on the bus of the Metro transport company, kidnapped last Sunday by the powerful armed group 400 Mawozo in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets, when they made the route between Santo Domingo and Port-au-Prince, were released.

This was reported this Thursday by the Haitian National Police (PNH) through its Twitter account, where it also publishes a video with the victims, including eight Turkish citizens; eight Haitians, seven of them passengers and the stewardess, in addition to the driver, of Dominican nationality.

“The Haitian National Police (PNH) during an operation carried out on the morning of this Thursday, May 12, 2022, released passengers who were kidnapped by armed individuals in the town of Croix-des-Bouquets,” they wrote along with the published images. .
