Port-au-Prince.- The Presidential Transition Council of Haiti held a special meeting this Thursday in Port-au-Prince with members of the diplomatic corps and accredited international organizations to discuss the announcement by the Dominican Government of deport to 10,000 Haitians every week.

This meeting was held to debate “the condemnable decision of the Dominican Government to deport 500,000 migrants (per year) to Haiti, defying their rights and international conventions on the matter,” the Council stated on its social networks.
