Deputy Itai Hagman (Frente Patria Grande-Frente de Todos) described as “very serious” that the president of the PRO, Patricia Bullrichbe “on the list of those who did not condemn the attack” against the vice president, Cristina Fernández de Kirchnerand considered “very worrying” that sectors of the opposition show up “outside of democratic coexistence”.
In dialogue with AM530, the deputy and leader of the Great Fatherland Front complained first of all about the “extreme versions” of the opposition, among which he mentioned the liberal economist Javier Milei, who “directly did not even repudiate the attack” suffered last Thursday by who was twice president of the Argentines and also “relativize” or “minimize”.
The deputy also criticized the position of what he called “the main opposition party” by the PRO: “Its president, Patricia Bullrich, is on the list of those who did not condemn the attack, which seems very serious to me,” Hagman sentenced.
Along these lines, he also questioned that the deputies of that bloc had withdrawn from the special session last Saturday, after the unanimous approval of a declaration condemning the assassination attempt against the Vice President and demanded the “prompt and complete” clarification of the fact and the conviction of those responsible.
“That their deputies withdraw from the room, practically refuse to participate in the session, really seems to me a very worrying fact because what we are discussing is what are the guidelines for democratic coexistence in Argentina,” Hagman said.

In this sense, the representative of Patria Grande emphasized that the existence of “a sector of the opposition that gives rise to or rises to political positions that are on the margin of democratic coexistence, seems very worrying to me,”
In another section of the interview, Hagman referred to the Great Fatherland Front congress held last weekend, in which that space decided to remain in the Front of All, and thus give up the idea of setting up separate blocks in national and porteño territory.
Hagman explained that decision was made for two reasons: First “The attack against Cristina and against Argentine democracy” led the partisan discussion and “was the main reason” for which they desisted “from any movement, understanding the seriousness of what it implies,” he revealed.
But he also said that they will continue in the ruling party after “a commitment from the Executive” to offer “a policy of containment, of income, for the most vulnerable informal sectors”, a measure that was finally announced by the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa.
Since @Economia_AR We announced a measure that will allow producers to liquidate foreign exchange for soybean exports at 200 pesos per dollar.

“Part of the proceeds that will be obtained from the liquidation of the soybean complex will go to a program for these sectors,” explained Hagman.
And he added: “The commitment we have is that it will be an income booster for the most vulnerable sector that at least arrives from now to the end of the year. It has to be for millions of people, we are not talking about a small thing, “she pointed out.
Finally, returning to the subject of the attack, he believed that “an attempt is being made to install the idea that political violence is simply the result of a social climate, a kind of theory of two hatreds” and asked “fight that story”.
For the left-wing deputy, violence “is the reaction that historically the privileged sectors had against popular movements and leaders who expanded rights,” because “it was not by chance that political violence was exercised against popular leadership,” and, in that context, “Cristina’s case cannot be excluded from this story.”
