The PT candidate for the government of the state of São Paulo, Fernando Haddad, said today (17) that he will expand the monorail lines in the capital of São Paulo. The candidate said that he already has studies on all the contracts of the concessionaires that manage the rail transport lines in the city.
“The extension of the monorail is important, which was promised to arrive in Cidade Tiradentes a long time ago and is still a little far away”, declared Haddad, after participating in a walk, alongside the presidential candidate, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in the neighborhood of São Mateus, on the east side of São Paulo.
Haddad also said that he intends to bring state administrative centers to the east side of São Paulo to stimulate job creation there. “In the surroundings of the Dom Bosco Station, we intend to bring some administrative centers from the state of São Paulo, some state headquarters, some public offices and start to foster the generation of an administrative center, a commercial center”, he said.
The PT candidate for the government of São Paulo later spoke about the shots fired near the event in which his opponent, Tarcísio de Freitas, in Paraisópolis, this morning, took part.
“I repudiate any and all forms of violence. This goes for 2018, 2020, 2022. I have always worked in the field of the dignity of politics, of contribution with proposals, this is how I have behaved since I entered public life,” she said.
