Another municipality in Colombia victim of hackers, the complaint is that they recently seized the bank accounts of the public resource of Nocaima, Cundinamarca.
About 2,700 million pesos approximately were looted by this group of cybercriminals.
“They took resources from us that are from the public treasury, we realized through the emails that the notification of the withdrawal of the accounts was reaching us but that they were immediately deleted,” they explained.
Given the irregular situation, the bank alerted and the alarms were immediately set off in the municipality.
“In total there are 2,775 million pesos that were stolen, that is practically the execution or the resources that are available to improve infrastructure, the social, for the investment of the municipality of Nocaima”, they lamented in this municipality.
Thanks to the coordinated work and efforts of the police, they managed to find the whereabouts of those responsible.

“The Token Group”
Those responsible for this great embezzlement is the group of cybercriminals called “Los Token”.
There are 19 people in total, among them the leader of the gang is known by the alias “armored machine”.
“Through a link they enter this mayor’s office and once accessed, they obtain control of the account, they expand that money to these people’s accounts,” explained Olga Salázar, general of the DIJIN.
General Salázar also added that “in an investigation that lasted 10 months where we carried out inspections, interviews; collection of evidence and digital tracking, we managed to capture 19 people, but the important thing is that the money returns to this beautiful municipality of Nocaima.”
