The Ministry of Education announced the start of registrations for the Hackathon in Educational Robotics and Digital Technologies 2024 – Bicentennial Edition, which will take place from August 2 to 4 in Huampaní (Chosica). This event will bring together 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students, teachers and experts in educational robotics to promote technological innovation projects through the STEAM approach (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics).

Ladislao Gallardo, a specialist from the General Directorate of Educational Technologies of Minedu, invited those interested to register until July 22 through the PerúEduca website: HERE.
The Hackathon will have three categories: specialists in educational robotics, regular basic education teachers and secondary school students. Among the notable participants will be the STEAMDIY and STEMBIT teams, winners of previous editions.
“The technological competition seeks to promote computational thinking, digital programming and problem solving using technology, aligned with the National Policy for Digital Transformation to 2030,” said.
