The political operation coordinator of the Morena deputies, Pedro Haces Barba, and second to the coordinator Ricardo Monreal, admitted yesterday that he did not attend Wednesday’s session, but when asked if he was in New York, in the last game of the World Series, reversed: Let the PAN tell them if I went, let them prove it to me! The PAN is not my father to go around seeing what I do and what I don’t
.
Since that day, the PAN bench has investigated why Haces Barba was allowed to vote remotely in the reform of the constitutional supremacy
when he should have been present.
Yesterday National Action asked the president of the chamber, Sergio Gutiérrez Luna (Morena), for a copy of the video of the voting process, because while his vote in favor generally appeared on the board, as can be seen in the photographs of the moment, Haces Barba was out of the country.
Deputies explained that voting on the seat screens is done with biometric data, that is, that no one could impersonate the identity of Haces, who the board of directors allowed to vote from the application on his phone.
The reform was declared by the table as generally approved with 340 votes in favor, but after an instruction from Monreal, Parliamentary Services deleted Haces’s vote and published in the Parliamentary Gazette which was validated with 339 votes in favor, and placed the legislator as absent.
On Wednesday night, Pedro Haces published on his X account: “we approved the ruling with 340 votes in favor and 133 against…”
In yesterday’s session, in which the constitutional validity of the reform was declared, Monreal was told the version that Haces was at the baseball game. Said: Maybe it’s good that he had that opportunity. I didn’t have it
.
–Did you vote or not?
-Don’t know. I would have to see. “There are 500,” he said.
–But they sit together.
–But he is never with me, he is always operating. Yesterday (Wednesday) I didn’t see him.
Pedro Haces later approached the corral
of press.
–Did you vote on Wednesday, deputy? –he was asked.
“No, I wasn’t here,” he admitted.
–Your vote appeared on the board.
–I don’t know why.
–Will there be ghosts?
–Well yes, I think so.
–Were you in the beigedeputy?
–That’s what they say in the PAN, ask them.
–But you, what do you say?
–I work daily everywhere.
–But were you in the beige, or not?
–Look, I have the opportunity to go, thank God, wherever I want to go. That’s life.
–So you did go to New York?
–No, no, no. I was working.
–Was it worth going to baseball?
–Let the PAN tell them if I went, let them prove it to me. See you later, young people!
The leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, Alejandro Moreno, reported that they will present a legal action, because the Morenoist deputy Haces admitted that he was not in the session in which this modification was approved, but his name appeared on the electronic board as if he had voted for. On social networks, he added that such a fact violates the legislative process.
