Guzmán criticized the opposition and said that they seek to generate instability

Martín Guzmán criticized Together for Change.

The former Minister of Economy, Martin Guzmantoday criticized the opposition of Together for Change and said that “They seek to generate instability on the eve of the elections,” while accusing them of increasing the foreign debt by 100,000 million and defaulting on the debt in pesos.”

In statements to the cable channel C5N, Guzmán affirmed that “What Together for Change is doing is very dangerous and very serious, they are generating instability on the eve of the elections”.

“Together for Change made the external debt grow by 100,000 million dollars and the debt in pesos was defaulted”said the former minister.

Guzmán once again questioned the document issued last week by the opposition, in which he stated that the national government was leaving a “bomb” for the future administration.

The former head of the Palacio de Hacienda emphasized: “We had to restructure the debt in dollars and the debt with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). What they seek is to generate instability on the eve of the elections”.

Regarding his management during the pandemic, Guzmán claimed that “Together for Change must say what they would not have invested in during the pandemic, because what was done was to protect companies and employment with the ATP and IFE programs, to guarantee thousands of jobs.”

Finally, the ex-minister affirmed that “What Argentina needs is to have better sources of financing.”
