The price of the dollar has been one of the most talked about topics in recent days due to the rise it has had. The American currency has been very close to $5,000, generating panic in the country’s economy.
From the city of Montería, the President of the Republic, Gustavo Petro, referred to the price of the dollar in Colombia and what it represents in front of its image.
“Now it has become fashionable that the president cannot speak because the dollar falls or shoots up“said the president.

On the other hand, the head of state pointed out that in the Special Assets Company (SAE) have stolen the money from the assets of the mafias in the process of extinction.
“No, here the things and problems that afflict Colombians are discussed, in the Special Assets Society (SAE) the assets that justice has extinguished have been stolen or are in the process of extinction to the different mafias of Colombia ”.
The president stated that the land has a social function. “It is private property, but it has a function and it is for something, it is not to see the women who are bought pass on catwalks, with feudal machismo […] “The owner of this did not see it as an instrument of production, but as power. This is how Colombia was configured. The State was a large hacienda,” he stressed.
