How Sergio Yepes Páez was identified the murdered police subintendent in an attack with a firearm against a patrol of the institution, which occurred in the last hours in the municipality of Yarumal, north of Antioch.
In the events, patrolwoman Luisa Zuleta was injured, who had to be transferred by helicopter to Medellín due to the seriousness of her injuries and is now receiving medical care at the Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital.

The president added that a string of murders has been evidenced in the municipality, for which he has been in talks with the authorities to request, for example, that there be a specialized prosecutor for that town and that the cases not be handled from Medellín.
“We have been attending to some homicides that have been occurring, basically referring to micro-trafficking and the Clan del Golfo that is present in the municipality, that is the information I have from the authorities. We have been working, looking for the criminal actions of these groups and they have made several important arrests, but today unfortunately they attack the public force,” said the president.
