Several media were moved interested in the debate among the three candidates for mayor: Guillermo Rodríguez (National Party), Nicolás Viera (Colorado Party) and Daniel Palomares (Colorado Party).
The nationalist declined to debate and in a public letter, Viera argues that the debate “would have been an important contribution to the decision that the citizenship of the department has to make on May 11”.
Viera states that he will continue to appeal to “the confidence of the people with the ideas and proposals that mobilize us. Nothing hides, therefore, I never fear the exchange that allows us to grow as a society.”
To carry out the debate, “Radio del Oeste, Ro Contents, Adm and Ude Colonia”, says the senator and candidate for the front, Nicolás Viera.
